Machine Head are back. Roaring into everyone’s attention span once more, the Head have dropped ‘Beyond The Pale’. The track is the lead single off their upcoming record “Catharis”, set for release January 26th, 2018.
Featuring some callbacks to some of Machine Head’s most celebrated works “Through the Ashes of Empires” and ”
The Blackening”, ‘Beyond the Pale’ wastes no time in reminding everyone who’s boss. Ripping through riffs, harmony leads, and pounding drums, the song is on the shorter side of Machine Head’s work and does well not to overstay it’s welcome. Vocalist Rob Flynn’s iconic voice is in better condition than ever, growling with authority and power that could sit aside some of metal’s finest. Check out ‘Beyond the Pale’ below.
Rising up in the metal scene in the ’90s, Machine Head have been a mainstay for over 20 years. Frequently headlining sell out tours worldwide and massive festivals, the band has evolved and adapted through line-up changes and sonic shifts. From thrash, nu-metal, metalcore, and groove, the band outshines some of the very best in the game.
It has been 3 long years since their latest album, “Bloodstone & Diamonds”, which released internationally on 7th November, 2014. It reached #2 on the US Hard Rock Charts, #10 in Australia, and #1 on the UK Independent charts.
